Mon avis: J'ai voulu lire ce livre, et j'ai bien fait!
Bon, lire en anglais n'est déjà pas des plus aisés, mais en plus ici on lit des lettres écrites par Celie, qui est une pauvre noire du sud de l'Amérique entre les deux guerres pas très intelligente, donc le langage est assez difficile à lire. Mais en fait, la lecture a été beaucoup plus facile et rapide que je ne l'aurais pensé!
Et bien entendu, comme à la fin du film, j'ai beaucoup pleuré à la fin du livre! :-D
Adaptation cinématographique: Bon, je pense que la plupart d'entre vous connaît le film... Si ce n'est pas le cas, vous loupez vraiment un chef-d'œuvre (et je ne dis pas cela seulement parce que ma Whoopy chérie joue dedans!), et vous devriez courir vous le procurer aussitôt cette lecture terminée! :-D
Après lecture, et malgré les différences parfois importantes, je pense que le film est non seulement un bon film, mais en plus une très bonne adaptation! Je conseille les deux donc!
